There are matatu minibusses going to Rabuor via number Orongo along the Kisumu-Nairobi road. From here one crosses the road to the right and takes an all weather road to Orongo Primary School.

From the main road to Kambare camp site there are special bicycles known as gware which can ferry you to Kambare camp site.
From Kisumu town to the camp site one is likely to part with about Ksh 30
= Ksh 20 for the matatu minibus
